Seeds of Hope, a division of Hands Up High Ministries, is creating shelters that are safe, healthy, and provide integral care for its girls. These shelters will be safe houses for girls who want to escape a life in sex trafficking or commercial sexual exploitation. Seeds of Hope's vision is to begin in Costa Rica but create a program that is replicated in the rest of Latin America and eventually the world. The program is designed so that each girl leaves with an education, vocational abilities, and healthy lifestyle practices. Our goal is that every girl who graduates our program can become successful members of society.
Seeds of Hope will be the first licensed shelter for victims of sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation in Costa Rica. We will open in July 2012.
